The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for performing venous and capillary blood collection from patients of all ages. They are also tasked with processing Point of Care Testing (POC) and related clinical functions.
A high school diploma is required, while medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are preferred. Candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift objects up to 40 pounds.
The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for accurately performing and processing, Point of Care Testing (POC), venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants, and children and all related functions.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
