NaphCare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, Nevada.
This part-time onsite (10 hours per week) opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about behavioral healthcare and wants to make a lasting impact in a unique clinical setting. Working within a collaborative correctional healthcare environment, you'll provide comprehensive psychiatric care, support patients participating in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, and partner with an experienced multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for individuals with complex behavioral health and medical needs.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare while supporting patients with mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
