Supports and develops clinical pharmacy systems to improve medication use and safety within the health system. Translates operational requirements into detailed design specifications and manages multiple concurrent IT projects.
Requires a PharmD or rPH licensure and 2 to 3 years of professional experience in pharmacy clinical applications. Must possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Supports and develops clinical systems as they relate to medication use and safety. Creates appropriate changes within the applications to support daily operational workflow within the health system pharmacies. Understands the requirements related to the various medication use initiatives and translates these requirements into detailed design specifications within the pharmacy applications. Meets as needed with members of both the Clinical Pharmacy team and other IT teams to ensure that the solutions being designed within the EMR with regard to medication use are viable and effective. Responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects ensuring successful completion of project expectations within the required timeline. Provision of 24/7 on call support required.
