Requires a Master's degree in Nursing, a current New Jersey RN license, and a minimum of 8 years of nursing experience. Previous experience as a Magnet Program Director and a specialty nursing certification are required.

The Director of Magnet Designation serves as the principal administrative officer for the Magnet and Pathway to Excellence Program for all of Hackensack Meridian Health. The Magnet Designation Director will provide support to the Chief Nursing Executive to plan and predict strategies using the ANCC framework of nursing excellence. This position is accountable for supporting the activities of the Chief Nursing Executive and V.P.'s of Patient Care Services through the coordination of corporate projects, activities, and initiatives to support the Magnet and or Pathway designation. The Magnet Designation Director identifies opportunities to standardize structures and processes to support a culture of nursing excellence, improve the nurse environment, and achieve better patient outcomes across the network.
