The Orthopedics Technician I assists physicians in providing medical and clerical support in various orthopedic practice locations. Responsibilities include performing procedures like wound care, preparing patients, documenting health information, and educating patients on care protocols.
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and proof of graduation from an approved Medical Assistant School or relevant experience. Medical Assistant Certification or Athletic Trainer Licensure is required within 120 days of hire.
