Perform phlebotomy duties including blood collection via venipuncture and skin puncture while managing specimen processing and registration. Maintain laboratory equipment through quality control procedures and ensure the proper storage and transfer of samples.
Requires a valid Texas Driver's License and two years of related experience for Level II, or completion of a phlebotomy course for Level I. Certification from agencies such as ASCP, ACA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is preferred.

The Laboratory Assistant II, Laboratory Services provides technical skills necessary to perform sample processing within the division and may perform essential phlebotomy duties as assigned.

- American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP),
- American Certification Agency (ACA),
- American Medical Technologist (AMT),
