The Clinical Nurse Manager guides nursing care for patients and serves as a resource for employees. They are responsible for team development and long-term unit planning in collaboration with medical and administrative staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with 3 to 5 years of RN experience. A valid South Carolina or Compact nursing license and AHA BLS Certification are required.
The Clinical Nurse Manager, under the supervision of the Department Director, guides the nursing care of patients. Serves as a resource person for fellow employees. Encourages and supports departmental staff in team development and function. With department directors, assumes responsibility for the long-term planning for the unit in collaboration with nursing schools, medical staff and administrative staff.
Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred
Experience: At least 3 to 5 years RN experience required.
Licenses/Certificates: Licensed to practice as a professional nurse in the state of South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement. AHA BLS Certification
