The housekeeper will assist with cleaning and laundry services for residents' communal and living spaces. They are responsible for following safety policies to ensure the facility remains sanitized and hazard-free.
Candidates must have previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role and possess knowledge of chemical handling. Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the right to work in New Zealand are required.
The role
Our Lady Allum village in Milford are looking for a casual Housekeeper to join their dedicated team.
Assisting with all aspects of cleaning and laundry services
Cleaning the residents communal and living spaces
Following set policies and procedures to ensure sites areas are sanitised, safe, and hazard free
Enjoying a role with plenty of variety.
Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning position
Knowledge and experience in chemical handling
Strong communication skills
Team work focus
A friendly nature, with respect for our residents
A passion for ensuring a safe environment
Strong eye for detail
The ability to work on a rostered shift basis
