The counselor will manage a caseload of patients, performing essential tasks such as screening, intake, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate clinical records and participating in administrative and clinical committees.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with an associate or bachelor degree preferred. A CASAC-T or CASAC-P eligibility is required, along with basic computer proficiency.
Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CASAC) will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health’s Syracuse Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $3,000!
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
