Area of Requirement: Fort Carson, Colorado (Colorado Springs)
Scope of Position
The Service Order Manager oversees execution of the Service Order Program and manages repair projects from initiation through closeout. The SOM develops scopes of work, evaluates engineering requirements, prepares cost estimates, solicits sub proposals, monitors project execution, and verifies work quality. Working under the CMM and ACMM, the SOM ensures all maintenance and repair activities comply with healthcare regulations, project requirements, and applicable codes while supporting uninterrupted hospital operations.
Tasks and Capabilities Required
· Manage Service Order Program
· Coordinate repair projects
· Develop project scopes
· Manage subcontractor support
· Develop Statements of Work
· Prepare cost estimates
· Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
· Coordinate project execution
· Inspect completed work
· Ensure quality workmanship
· Coordinate project closeout
· Maintain project documentation
· Support emergency repairs
Mandatory Experience and Certifications
· Healthcare facilities management and construction experience
· Experience managing healthcare renovation and maintenance projects
· Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission standards
· Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, and security systems
· Experience with DoD healthcare design standards
· Experience in bid preparation, solicitation, evaluation, award, inspection, acceptance, and closeout
Preferred/Desired Certifications
· ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)
· Project Management Professional (PMP)
