Wil jij tijdens je afstudeerstage een bijdrage leveren aan de ontwikkeling van een Business Intelligence-omgeving? Dan is deze opdracht iets voor jou.
Binnen onze organisatie is een Apache Superset-omgeving beschikbaar. Tijdens jouw afstudeerstage onderzoek je hoe deze volgens de best practices ingericht kan worden. Op basis van je onderzoek ontwerp en realiseer je een Business Intelligence-omgeving, inclusief een werkend prototype met dashboards en visualisaties.
Deze opdracht is geschikt voor een of twee afstudeerders.
Jouw bijdrage
Onderzoeken van best practices voor Apache Superset.
Ontwerpen van een toekomstbestendige BI-inrichting.
Inrichten en configureren van Apache Superset.
Ontwikkelen van dashboards en datavisualisaties.
Opleveren van een werkend prototype en een onderbouwd advies.
Wie ben jij
Je bent een HBO- of WO-student in de afrondende fase van een opleiding zoals Informatica, Software Engineering, ICT, Data Science of Business IT & Management. Je hebt interesse in Business Intelligence, data en datavisualisatie en werkt zelfstandig, analytisch en resultaatgericht.

Affiniteit met Business Intelligence en data-analyse.
Basiskennis van SQL en relationele databases.
Een onderzoekende en kritische houding.
Interesse in open-source technologieën, zoals Apache Superset.
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
Waar kom ik terecht en met wie werk ik samen?
Tijdens je stage maak je onderdeel uit van de afdeling Software Development. Je wordt begeleid door een stagebegeleider die je ondersteunt bij tijdens de uitvoering van de opdracht, de voortgang bewaakt en fungeert als eerste aanspreekpunt voor inhoudelijke, technische en organisatorische vraagstukken.
Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met collega's van Marketing, die als opdrachtgever betrokken zijn bij deze opdracht. Vanuit deze samenwerking krijg je inzicht in de informatiebehoefte van onze organisatie en de wijze waarop de data kan worden ingezet om doelstellingen en resultaten inzichtelijk te maken.
Door de samenwerking tussen Software Development, Marketing en andere betrokken afdelingen krijg je de mogelijkheid om ervaring op te doen met zowel de technische realisatie van een BI-oplossing als de vertaling van businessvraagstukken naar concrete dashboards en stuurinformatie. De resultaten van jouw onderzoek en prototype dragen bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van Business Intelligence binnen de organisatie.
