Support commissioning, operational acceptance and handover activities for new facilities, expansions and major upgrades.
Define and assure operational acceptance criteria, testing requirements and documentation standards to support successful transition into live operations.
Serve as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for Mechanical Safety Rules, ensuring robust governance, safe systems of work and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Support asset lifecycle planning, reliability initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the portfolio.
Conduct technical assurance reviews and site audits, identifying opportunities to improve safety, resilience and operational performance.
Provide technical escalation support during major incidents, supporting high-quality root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Identify opportunities to improve cooling performance, operational efficiency and water utilisation.
Provide technical oversight of vendors, contractors and service providers, ensuring consistency and quality across facilities.
Coach and mentor engineers and operational teams, supporting capability development across the EMEA portfolio.

Experience reviewing and supporting the design of mission-critical mechanical systems.
Advanced knowledge of cooling systems, mechanical plant and critical infrastructure used within high-availability facilities.
Strong understanding of resilience, operational risk management and asset lifecycle considerations within live critical environments.
Proven ability to develop engineering standards, governance frameworks and operational best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a structured approach to risk management and decision-making.
Ability to influence, coach and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations and delivery teams.
Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Professional accreditation or chartership is desirable.
Strong written and verbal English language skills.
