The Quality Director is responsible for developing and implementing a total quality management system integrated with the Oshkosh Operating System. This role oversees product, process, supplier, and engineering quality to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and over 10 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include Quality Management and Six Sigma certifications, an MBA, and a proven track record of implementing ISO9001 standards.
The Quality Director will have a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the entire product lifecycle. This individual will develop and implement a total quality management system within the business unit that fully integrates with the Oshkosh Operating System. This position is both strategic and operational, involving the day to day quality performance within Oshkosh Defense and the responsibility for the long-term approach to product quality. This role will lead a highly motivated team.
