Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering contracts within our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be capable of conducting on-site audits of contractors to ensure compliance with contractual terms, safety standards, and budget constraints.
What you’re responsible for:
Manage the full lifecycle of contracts related to equipment installation, facility upgrades and infrastructure maintenance
Conduct on-site audits to verify contractor compliance with contractual obligations, timesheets, cost tracking and safety standards
Prepare and present detailed audit reports including findings, risk assessments and recommendations
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement teams to ensure contracts align with operational objectives
Track contractor performance, project milestones and budget adherence
Ensure all contracts comply with industry standards, local regulations and internal policies
Support resolution of disputes, claims and contract amendments
Qualifications
To join our team:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related technical field
5 to 7 years of experience in contract management in an industrial, manufacturing or recycling environment
Strong knowledge of metal recycling equipment: shredders, shears, balers, eddy current separators and conveyor systems
Proven experience in field audits including timesheet verification and cost tracking
Good knowledge of environmental and safety regulations applicable to industrial operations
Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
