The Pump Mechanic I is responsible for assembling, servicing, maintaining, and repairing reciprocating plunger pumps and associated mechanical components. They must perform detailed evaluations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record and possess one to three months of related experience or training. A working knowledge of oil and gas equipment and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds are required.

SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Pump Mechanic I. The Pump Mechanic I assembles, services, maintains, evaluates, repairs, and installs reciprocating plunger pumps to include but not limited to gear boxes, power end assemblies and fluid end assemblies.
