Role Summary
You will lead the supplier audit and risk program for Polymer/ Chemical commodity, ensuring resilient, compliant, and high-quality supply. This role blends on-ground audits, analytical risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier capacity to deliver measurable improvements in quality, compliance, and service.

Responsibilities
Audit Strategy & Delivery
Risk Assessment- Build and maintain supplier risk registers.
Material, Process & Polymer/ Chemical commodity validation- Preferably commodities like Adhesion & Engineered Polymer, Inorganic & Specialty Chemicals, Upstream & Chemical Polymers
Supplier Performance- Deploy scorecards (OTD, DPPM, NCRs, audit scores, response times, certification status), drive maturity.
Compliance & Governance to specific norms (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, OHS, IATF etc.,)
Stakeholder Collaboration
Requirements
12–15 years | Supplier Risk Audit Experience: 8-10 years
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering / Polymer Science / Chemistry or equivalent.
8–10 years in supplier auditing, supplier quality, supplier assessment within Polymer/ Chemical commodity (Adhesion & Engineered Polymer, Inorganic & Specialty Chemicals, Upstream & Chemical Polymers)
Demonstrated experience in auditing suppliers leading to measurable outcomes.
Required Skills & Competencies
Supplier Operational Assessments – Perform Onsite assessments for Quality, Supply Chain & Capacity
Apply value stream mapping, create material, and process flows, Document pain points and gaps.
Sound knowledge of risk modeling (FMEA/ SRM), SPC, Pareto/ 5-Why/8D, dashboarding, trend analysis.
Supplier communication, negotiation, crisp documentation, stakeholder management, decision-making under ambiguity.
