We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineer with a strong background and knowledge of CFD (Computational fluid dynamics), with particular specialism in tunnels, ideally railways, to join our engineering team. This position within our MEP engineering team will suit a committed and ambitious engineer who can demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to play their part in a dynamic high-performance team.
The Engineer/CFD Engineer will be accountable for the delivery of CFD design allocated to MEP Projects, including but not limited to high-speed rail.
The Engineer/CFD Engineer’s main duties will be to develop solutions for tunnel ventilation for MEP projects including high-speed rail, as well as the production of MEP designs as instructed by the projects Contractors Responsible Engineer and/or Lead Engineer and to be responsible for:
