Role description:
Arcadis is growing our Civil Infrastructure team in Queensland — and we’re looking for a Principal Engineer to take a leading role in delivering a strong pipeline of TMR, D&C and private sector projects.
This is a genuine leadership opportunity to drive project delivery, win work and lead high-performing teams across some of the region’s most important infrastructure programs.
Role accountabilities:
As a Principal Engineer, you will:
Lead civil teams to successfully deliver projects and design packages
Play a key role in bids and tenders - winning the next wave of work
Drive technical excellence, commercial performance and client satisfaction
Build and strengthen long-term client and industry relationships
Mentor and develop engineers, creating a high-performing team culture
This role is central to winning, leading and delivering - not just participating.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage interfaces and deliver outcomes
Track record in bids, client engagement and securing work
Commercial acumen with a focus on best-for-project solutions
10+ years’ experience in design and delivery environments
What Sets You Apart
You’re more than technically strong -you:
Lead from the front, inspiring and developing others
Thrive in a fast-moving, opportunity-rich environment
Bring energy, commercial awareness and client focus
Want to play a key role in growing a leading civil team in QLD
