Maintain and repair a wide variety of oilfield equipment, including diesel engines, heavy trucks, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and component rebuilding both in the shop and on-location.
Requires a high school diploma and at least five years of proven experience with oilfield equipment and hydraulics. A valid driver's license is required, with a Class A or B license and technical certifications highly preferred.
The primary role of the equipment Mechanic is to maintain and repair a variety of equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, workover rigs, pumping equipment, lifting equipment, and other rig and drill-out oilfield related equipment. The equipment mechanic will also perform the following but not limited to preventive and corrective maintenance, failure analysis, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, assembling and rebuilding of components or equipment (i.e.: engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.) either in a shop or on location, with or without supervision.
