UToledo Health and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences has a faculty position opening for a Pain Management Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesia.
UToledo Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Pain Management to join our academic team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain conditions through a multimodal approach, including medication management and interventional procedures in an outpatient setting.
The role also includes delivering anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures, with a focus on safe and effective perioperative management. Faculty will engage in teaching medical students and residents, with opportunities to contribute to research, leadership, and program development within a collaborative academic setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: MD or DO Required
Eligible for or in possession of a valid medical license from the state of Ohio
Board certified or in the board examination process of the American Board of Anesthesiology
Completed Fellowship training in Pain Management
Eligible at the University of Toledo and the University of Toledo Medical Center at the level of Instructor (board-eligible), Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
Committed to the education of fellows, residents and medical students
Eligible for credentialing at the University of Toledo, the University of Toledo Medical Center and affiliated healthcare institutions.
