The teacher is responsible for delivering ELA and literature instruction while monitoring the academic, spiritual, and social development of students. They must also maintain accurate records, participate in faculty meetings, and foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management.
Applicants must hold at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in education, and demonstrate a personal faith in Jesus Christ. A pastoral reference is required to verify active church involvement and adherence to the school's religious standards.

All teachers must agree to support all sections of the ECS Declaration of Faith, and must whole-heartedly affirm sections 1-5, 8-13, 21-23.
