The Role

Alchelyst is seeking an Associate Director to join its Client Service Team in Wexford — a team built to operate as a seamless extension of our GP clients' own organizations. Client Service professionals are often the primary point of contact for investors and financial advisors, representing our GP clients with the same professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail they would expect from their own staff. The Associate Director will play a key role in delivering a high-quality investor experience for our GP clients, while helping to strengthen operational controls, improve processes, and drive the effective use of technology across the Client Service function.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end investor transaction workflows — including onboarding, subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, and other investor lifecycle activity — including coordination with key client stakeholders such as Sales, Fund counsel, Fund controllers, external administrators, and Product teams.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of investor data, overseeing data management workflows and maintenance to support investor relations and compliance.
• Use Alchelyst's or other e-subscription, document management, and Investor Portal platforms to support a smooth investor experience across the full range of investor transactions, including a seamless workflow during fund-close efforts.
• Lead and coordinate investor activity during critical fund-close periods, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently to support timely capital calls and deal execution.
• Answer investor inquiries, employing critical thinking to address investor questions around fund offerings. Partner closely with other stakeholder teams to provide investors with accurate and comprehensive responses.
• Perform an oversight function over other service providers, helping to build efficient processes and strong working relationships.
• Prepare and maintain procedures and documentation to support the client service operating model.
• Partner with Client Service management and Technology teams to analyze the existing data control framework, aiming to improve investor data integrity and minimize manual work and reconciliation efforts.
• Collaborate with Alchelyst's global client service team to execute our 'work with the sun' operating model, enhancing efficiency and effectively delivering on team mandates.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 10+ years of experience within Alternatives (private equity, private debt, real assets, infrastructure, or similar private markets).
• Prior experience in investor services, transfer agency, or fund administration operations
• Very high attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines in a high-volume, accuracy-critical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, investor-ready communications.
• Confidence and professionalism when engaging with GPs and institutional investors.
• Ability to analyse data, spot trends or issues, and translate them into clear insights and key messaging for stakeholders.
• Aptitude for technology — comfortable learning and working in servicing/CRM platforms and advanced Excel; genuine interest in how technology improves operational processes.
• Able to collaborate effectively with a global team across time zones.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:

• Hands-on experience with fund administration/investor servicing platforms (e.g., Investran, eFront, Intralinks, Subscribe) or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Additional language skills relevant to the investor base are a benefit.
• Experience with reporting/data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel (e.g., Power Query, VBA)
• Project or change-management experience.
• Exposure to fundraising or closing processes — capital calls, distributions, KYC/AML, FATCA, CRS — is a plus.

What Success Looks Like:

90 Days: Onboarding & Foundation

• Understand Alchelyst's client service operating model, team structure, and the private markets fund lifecycle (onboarding, subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, capital calls).
• Have begun building relationships with key stakeholders: Sales, Fund counsel, Fund controllers, external administrators, Product teams, and the global Client Service team.
• Be trained on and able to navigate core platforms — e-subscription, document management, Investor Portal, and relevant servicing/CRM tools.
• Be executing standard investor transactions with supervision/review, building toward independence.
• Understand the current data control framework, including known reconciliation pain points and manual workarounds.
• Be familiar with existing procedures and documentation for the role.

6 Months: Independent Execution

• Independently execute end-to-end investor transaction workflows (onboarding, subscriptions, transfers, redemptions) with minimal oversight.
• Respond to investor and advisor inquiries accurately and professionally, escalating appropriately when needed.
• Have identified specific opportunities to improve investor data integrity or reduce manual/reconciliation work and be contributing to at least one improvement initiative.
• Be building effective working relationships with other service providers as part of the oversight function.
• Be contributing updates to procedures and documentation.

12 Months: Ownership & Impact

• Be a reliable owner of end-to-end investor transactions and fund-close coordination, including during high-volume or high-pressure periods.
• Have led or significantly contributed to a data integrity or process improvement initiative with measurable results (e.g., fewer manual touchpoints, faster cycle times, reduced errors).
• Be a trusted point of contact for GP clients and institutional investors, handling escalations and complex or ambiguous inquiries with confidence.
• Demonstrate effective oversight of external service providers, with evidence of process improvements or strengthened working relationships.
• Be fully integrated into the global Client Service team's operating model, collaborating smoothly across time zones.
• Ensure procedures and documentation for their area are current, clear, and usable by others.

Ongoing: Steady-State Performance

• Deliver consistently accurate, timely execution of investor transactions and data management, meeting all deadlines.
• Handle investor and advisor inquiries with a level of accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness that reflects well on GP clients.
• Ensure fund-close periods run smoothly under their coordination, with no missed capital call notices attributable to process failure.
• Continuously identify and drive improvements in data controls, technology use, and process efficiency.
• Maintain strong, sustained working relationships with service providers, internal stakeholders, and the global Client Service team.
• Act as a resource and informal mentor to less experienced team members, consistent with the Associate Director level
