In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high benchmarks for code quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of solutions to adapt to evolving requirements and challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success and timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Application Development.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance software architectures within the SAP Business Technology Platform environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native application development and integration techniques.
- Ability to implement and enforce coding standards and development best practices.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Competence in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BTP Application Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
