1. Processing Underwriting Support Tasks - 70%

Working under the director of supervisor, processes tasks related to underwriting and policy processing functions.

Follows established processes and procedures to complete routine and mid-level complexity tasks related to policies, binders, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and final audit transactions. This may include gathering and verifying client information, researching guidelines, inputting information into a variety of web-based systems and forms and completed related reports.

Exercise problem solving skills to resolve problems with low- to mid-level complexity. Escalate high level complexity to supervisor.

Maintain up-to-date workflows for each process, ensuring they are ready to use at any time.

2. Client Service and Communication - 20%

Receives and handles client requests via inbound email. Serves as a lead for client accounts that are low-to-mid-level complexity and serves as a backup for others.

Respond promptly to client needs, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring a positive client experience.

Answers questions professionally and assists clients by completing a task or process for them.

Participates in client status calls with supervisor, and provides input to clients as needed.

3. Teamwork and Collaboration - 10%

Collaborates with co-workers and supervisors to meet client needs and contribute to achievement of internal team goals.

Looks for opportunities to improve processes to better support client and build knowledge and expertise in underwriting.

Serve as a resource and mentor to junior team members.
