The Project Engineer will coordinate industrial and tertiary building projects by managing design consultants, contractors, and technical stakeholders to meet quality, safety, and budget goals. They are responsible for overseeing construction works, monitoring project progress, and managing the commissioning and handover phases.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with 2 to 6 years of professional experience, or a PhD with up to 3 years of experience. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
As a Project Engineer on Building Projects within the Site and Civil Engineering Department (Project Portfolio Management Group), you will contribute to industrial and tertiary building projects. , Working under the supervision of a CERN Project Manager, you will coordinate users, technical stakeholders, design consultants and contractors to meet technical, safety, schedule, quality and budget objectives.
Job closing date: 06.09.2026 at 23:59 CEST.
Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Job flexibility: Fully Onsite
