At WorkNest Secure, the Client Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, managing mid-level retention and growth targets across our client base.
This role is less about years of experience and more about attitude, drive, and a willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced cyber security environment.
The focus is on building strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction, and driving account growth through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio Management:
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Carry a mid-level target, contributing to team goals through renewals and account expansion.
Act as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell, bringing additional value to clients.
Support client meetings, reviews, and renewal conversations with guidance from senior colleagues.
Revenue Growth & Attraction:
Work to consistently achieve retention and growth targets.
Proactively identify risks of churn and support strategies to protect accounts.
Contribute to commercial negotiations and renewals, developing skills in deal handling.
Keep CRM records accurate and up to date to provide full visibility of pipeline and forecasts.
Collaboration & Team Contribution:
Work closely with the Client Management Team Leader for coaching, mentoring, and development.
Learn from and support senior colleagues, shadowing key accounts where appropriate.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Service Delivery to ensure excellent client outcomes.
Partner with Marketing to follow up on campaigns and ABM activity.
Share best practice and contribute to a positive, ambitious team culture.

Build knowledge of the sector and continuously improve account management skills.
Demonstrate ambition and readiness to progress into more senior roles.
Skills & Attributes:
Previous cyber security experience is desirable.
More important is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Motivated by targets and comfortable working in a commercial environment.
Strong communication skills with confidence in building client relationships.
Organised and disciplined, with strong attention to detail in managing accounts and pipeline.
Curious and eager to learn about the cyber security and technology sector.
Resilient and adaptable, with the drive to deliver results.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or relevant account management experience.
Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
