Position Summary:  

Greets members and guests at the Lake View Café and pool area; takes and delivers food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders to tables, pools, and other Club areas from the Café. 

This is a seasonal, hourly, non-exempt position. The season is defined as: April/September, weekends only and May/June/July/August-all week.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour 

Essential Job Functions: including but not limited to

• Take food and beverage orders using correct names/numbers/sub-numbers using a notepad or the POS system. 
• Restock products and small wares required for item preparation.
• Operate food production equipment according to managers’ and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices, including those related to personal hygiene.
• Perform cleaning tasks (clean equipment and line areas, sweep, mop, remove trash)
• Bus and detail Pool side and Café tables as needed.
• Monitor and maintain workstations and dining area throughout the day, refilling and restocking as necessary (including water station cups, condiments, ice in coke machine, lemons/limes, napkins, etc.)  
• Deliver and serve food/drink orders to members in the Café as well as around the pool area and outside tables.

Preferred Education and/or Experience: 

Requires a Food Handlers’ Safety Certificate and TABC Certification. Requires the ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.

Physical Demands: 

This position routinely requires sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, holding/carrying, lifting, twisting, reaching, and climbing stairs. Have the ability to lift and/or move at least fifty (50) pounds on a consistent basis. Must be able to stand for long periods.

Work Environment: 

The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate and is typical of a country club pool environment but cannot account for extraordinary circumstances. Depending on Club events, the noise level can become elevated at times. This position necessitates working indoors and in the outdoor elements, extreme heat to possible colder temperatures.
