- Perform visual inspections on welded products in progress and completed jobs.
- Inspect weld jobs for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut etc.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Have knowledge of the calibration of welding & testing equipment.
- Reviews all welded products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept or reject the product.
- Document and communicate non-conforming items to designated project supervision, follow up on non-conformances until the close out.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides information to management.
- Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
- Provide training and limited oversight to other team members.
- Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.

- Detail Oriented
- Able to read, understand and interpret work orders, blueprints/drawings, quality procedures, tolerance per standards and specifications and familiar with welding symbols.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
CWI Certification required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Work experience in Manufacturing (preferred)
Ability to work night shift
