The operator is responsible for moving and stacking empty containers using a forklift and loading them onto trucks. They must also maintain the cleanliness of the forklift cabin and adhere to all safety protocols.
Candidates must have previous experience operating a Twinpick Empty Handler in a container park environment. A current LF licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment are mandatory.
Job Purpose
DP World Container Parks are looking for experienced Empty Handler Forklift Operators to join our team in a permanent capacity at our Empty Container Park in West Melbourne. Shifts available across day, afternoon and night shift.
Key Accountabilities
Operating Forklift for empty container movement and stacking
Loading containers on and off trucks
Load repair and wash bays
Undertaking routine cleaning of the forklift cabins and windows
Following safety procedures and processes at all times
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Have had previous experience in a Container Park handling empty containers
Have previous experience operating a Twinpick Empty Handler
Have a current LF licence
Have a great team spirit and dedication to your work
Physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
