You will build, maintain, and improve the React Native mobile application while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tracking and AI-driven features. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of the Next.js web frontend and ensure high standards for code quality and performance.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience with React Native and solid proficiency in React and Next.js. Strong problem-solving skills, experience with AI coding assistants, and the ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment are required.

Bei wehorse entwickeln wir als Sports-Tech-Unternehmen digitale Produkte, die Reitern helfen, gemeinsam mit ihren Pferden zu lernen, zu trainieren und besser zu werden. Stell dir eine Mischung aus Duolingo und Strava vor: hochwertige Videokurse, mobiles Lernen, Community, Tracking-Features und KI-gestützte Erlebnisse, die Trainingsfortschritte greifbar machen.
Für unser Product-Engineering-Team suchen wir einen Mobile Engineer mit klarem Fokus auf Mobile. Die Rolle passt zu dir, wenn du stark in React Native bist, richtig gute Mobile-Apps baust und genug React- und Next.js-Erfahrung mitbringst, um bei Bedarf auch auf unserer Web-Plattform mitzuarbeiten.
Du entwickelst mit uns die Zukunft unserer App, vor allem rund um Reiter- und Pferde-Tracking und KI-Features, und sorgst nebenbei dafür, dass unsere Web-Plattform stabil und gepflegt bleibt. Erfahrung mit Pferden oder Reiten brauchst du dafür natürlich nicht.

Uns ist wichtig, zu verstehen, bevor wir verändern. Heißt: Wir bevorzugen Entwickler, die sich erst in Produkt, Nutzer und bestehende Architektur einarbeiten, bevor sie große Rewrites vorschlagen.
