WATG seeks a Senior Consultant for Advisory Services in Singapore.
ROLE
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and communicating strategies that enhance the performance and long-term value of hotel, branded residential, and leisure assets. The position is not purely analytical. The work produced will inform both design direction and investment strategy, shaping how projects evolve rather than simply evaluating them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaboratively plans and performs research and data collection activities
• Designs and supports engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders
• Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to determine the impact on the client’s development opportunity
• Uses interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration to ground all ideas in research insights and constraints
• Manages day-to-day operations for projects, including staffing, fee tracking, forecasting, and client meetings
• Working closely with the Director for Advisory Services, guides other analysts and team members on projects, encouraging original thinking and ensuring project alignment and success
• Understands geography, economics, and global affairs broadly
• Coordinates project administration and internal corporate support
• Helps strengthen and grow existing client relationships
PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates are likely to come from diverse backgrounds, including development or asset management analysis, hotel valuations, consulting, or exiting hotel advisory roles. An established specialism in hotels, a passion for leisure and tourism, and a solid understanding of the hospitality sector would be highly beneficial.
• A degree in real estate, economics, tourism, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required
• Ability to work in a team environment under pressure
• Critical and creative thinker
• Clear communicator and presenter of ideas, findings, and points of view
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly numerate and competent with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modeling
• Well-traveled with a broad understanding of geography, economics, and global affairs
• Organizational skills are essential, and good coordination of project administration and internal corporate support
• Second language is an advantage
