The respiratory therapist evaluates, treats, and manages patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and cardiopulmonary disorders. They perform respiratory care procedures and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, a Registered Respiratory Therapist license, and an NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license. At least 3 years of clinical experience and various life support certifications are required.
