The Rental Diesel Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on rental equipment to ensure operational readiness. They also assist with yard duties, including loading and unloading equipment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for technical school graduation in diesel mechanics. Experience in heavy equipment repair, along with basic administrative and customer service skills, is required.

The Rental Diesel Technician may be responsible for performing incidental repairs, removing and replacing repairable sub-assemblies, evaluating damage to determine reusability in rebuild, troubleshooting equipment, and/or performing high level diagnostic assessments in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Depending upon education and experience, the Shop Mechanic may perform all or some of the Essential Functions listed below with or without direct supervision.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour.
Pay is dependent on education and experience.
