The Rental Diesel Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic assessments, repairs, and maintenance on rental equipment to ensure operational safety. They must also manage work orders, document parts usage, and assist with yard duties including loading and cleaning equipment.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a technical school background in diesel engines preferred. The role requires experience in heavy equipment or mechanical repair, along with basic administrative and customer service skills.

The Rental Diesel Technician may be responsible for performing incidental repairs, removing and replacing repairable sub-assemblies, evaluating damage to determine reusability in rebuild, troubleshooting equipment, and/or performing high level diagnostic assessments in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Depending upon education and experience, the Shop Mechanic may perform all or some of the Essential Functions listed below with or without direct supervision.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour.
Pay is dependent on education and experience.
