At Wabash Castings, every quality casting starts with a quality mold. As a member of our Mold Deck Crew, you'll play a critical role in preparing molds for the casting process by placing cores, inspecting components, and ensuring every mold is ready for molten aluminum.

Set sand cores into molds with precision using both hand tools and core-setting equipment
Inspect molds and cores to ensure quality before casting
Install filters and prepare molds for production
Remove excess sand using air wands and drill arms
Identify quality concerns and communicate them to your supervisor
Follow work instructions and safety procedures
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Have at least one year of manufacturing experience
Have a high school diploma or GED
Work well with others and communicate effectively
Pay attention to detail and take pride in quality work
Can follow written work instructions
Enjoy physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
