The Quality Engineer ensures CNC-machined aerospace components meet all internal, customer, and regulatory quality requirements. They lead nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the Quality Management System.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in aerospace quality standards like AS9100 and experience with complex machined components are required.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring that CNC-machined aerospace materials, components, and assemblies meet all internal, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.
The Quality Engineer supports both New Product Development (NPD) and production environments, with a focus on complex, tight-tolerance machined components used in critical aerospace applications. This position contributes to achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) objectives through the effective application and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Engineer reports to the Quality Manager and supports the company’s mission, vision, and values.
