Provide peer recovery coaching and facilitate educational groups on daily living and coping skills for individuals in a subacute mental health facility. Coordinate with case management teams to develop recovery plans and accurately document client encounters.
Requires a Peer Support Specialist certification (or progress toward one) and lived experience with homelessness, mental illness, or substance use. Candidates must be able to pass a background screening and drug test, and possess a valid driver's license if transportation is required.

Position Summary
Provide peer recovery coaching to individuals in our Subacute Mental Health facility who are interested in peer support services. Link participants to recovery resources available in the program and externally. Facilitate groups and education on daily living skills, relapse prevention, coping skills, and recovery. Work closely with case management team to coordinate services. Complete recovery management plan with individuals to assist in goal setting and steps to achieve success. Accurately document each encounter to meet data requirements.
