The role involves delivering high-quality technical training to dealership service personnel using blended learning formats and managing the day-to-day operations of the training center. Additionally, the trainer contributes to the development and maintenance of course curricula to ensure alignment with emerging automotive technologies.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in automotive science or a related discipline and possess a valid provincial technician's license or Red Seal certification. A minimum of 5 years of technical automotive experience in an OEM dealership and at least 3 years of teaching or training experience are required.

Under the direction of the Manager, Group Academy, this individual contributor role is responsible for delivering high quality technical training to Volkswagen and Audi dealership service personnel, with a focus on the effective application of automotive technologies and processes. Training includes theoretical instruction as well as hands on diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures, delivered through a variety of blended learning formats.
The position is also accountable for the day to day operations and maintenance of the Training Center, including accurate scheduling, reporting, and administration of classes within the Learning Management System (LMS). In addition, the role contributes to the review, maintenance, and development of course curriculum and training content to ensure accuracy and alignment with emerging technologies.
This is a fully on site position based at the Richmond British Columbia Learning Centre operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours. While the schedule follows a regular weekday structure, flexibility may be required to meet business needs. Due to the nature of the role and training delivery requirements, occasional additional hours or adjustments to the work schedule may be necessary to support operational demands.
