The Plant Operator Trainee is responsible for operating and monitoring auxiliary power plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient electricity production. They must also perform routine inspections, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain accurate shift logs.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and have 1-2 years of related industrial experience. The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts, respond to emergency callouts, and perform physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.

Plant Operator/Operator Trainees operate and monitor auxiliary equipment and systems which support the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound production of electricity.
Please Note: Salary offered will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s education and/or experience and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement covering this position.
