Lead procurement activities for technical spare parts and consumables to support the maintenance of a fleet of over 80 river ships. Manage supplier performance, budget outcomes, and the end-to-end supply chain while mentoring junior staff.
Requires a degree in business or engineering with 3-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a technical or marine environment. Candidates must be fluent in English and German and eligible to work in Germany or Austria.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Manager Purchasing within the Technical Operations River (TOR), you will lead procurement activities supporting Maintenance & Repair Operations for Viking’s fleet of 80+ river ships. Reporting to the Senior Manager Purchasing, you own supplier performance, contract negotiations and budget outcomes while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance. This position is based in Cologne or Vienna and includes occasional business travel to suppliers and operational hubs in Europe
