These roles focus on assisting patients and their families with hospitality, logistical, and support needs. These roles are essential for ensuring a smooth and efficient healthcare experience.
These positions focus on providing excellent service and creating a welcoming, supportive environment for patients and their families. These roles aim to enhance the patient experience through visitor assistance, safe and comfortable patient transport, and ensuring other general comfort and other non-clinical needs are met during their stay.
Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience.
Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Work is routine and follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are routine with clearly defined solutions. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Virginia Driver’s License (VADL) preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently driving, traveling (distance greater than 1 mile) and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull >200lbs. Job is outdoors so seasonal exposure to weather elements. May be exposed to fumes, noise, outdoor climate, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $16.50 - $24.24 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
