The Trauma Medical Director ensures the trauma program meets quality, performance, and accreditation standards. They are responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary care and teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care and hold a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License. They must also meet university criteria for appointment as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
