Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive sales of banking products and services to new and existing customers, contributing to the growth and profitability of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd.

Job Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable banking products and services (e.g., loans, deposits, investments, insurance).
Conduct thorough financial assessments and present tailored solutions that align with customer objectives and bank policies.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs set by the bank.
Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments within the banking industry.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments (e.g., credit, operations, product teams) to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
* Adhere to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards of the bank.

Job Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of banking products and services, including consumer and/or commercial offerings.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Results-driven with a strong commitment to achieving sales targets.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; proficiency in other local dialects is an advantage.
Possession of relevant industry licenses or certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CEILI) will be an added advantage.
