Job Summary:
Do you enjoy hands-on work in a clinical or technical environment? The School of Nursing is seeking a ClinicalEducationSupportTechnician to supportitsnursing skills and simulation labs by preparing clinical skills rooms,maintainingequipment and supplies, and ensuring students and faculty have a safe, well-organized learning environment.
The ClinicalEducation SupportTechnician will primarilybe responsible forsupporting nursing faculty, clinical instructors, and students by preparingandmaintainingthe clinical skills environmentsto accuratelyrepresenta clinical setting using real and simulated clinical supplies andequipment. This position will oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of the CTEN(Center for Technology Enhanced Nursing)mid-fidelity mannequinsandhuman patient simulator equipment,as well aspartial task trainers, medical equipment, and specializedsimulation training softwareused by facultyduring clinical training and assessment programs. No two days will look alike in this role.

The CTEN is a 5,000-square-foot space that includes 4 skills labs, 2 assessment labs, andsimulated hospital, clinic, and homeenvironments.These spaces support students’ hands-on learningbyprovidingopportunities to explore and learn the role of the professional nurse in a variety of unique care settings.
The CTEN typicallyoperatesMonday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to6:30pmand core work hours between these hours will beset upon hire. Work hours will need to be shifted to meetoperationalneedsand occasional work in the evenings and/orweekends may berequiredto meet the needs of the school.
This position is full-time, 100%. It isanticipatedthis position requires most work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location and has beendesignatedas a position that is essential to School of Nursing operations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provides technical and logistical consultation, training, and/or support for learning technology tools and platforms within the nursing skills and simulation labs
Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, resolves issues, and provides feedback regarding learning technologies, including supplies and equipment, in the skills and simulation environments
Provides support for collecting, organizing, interpreting, and disseminating data to identify instructional program needs and enhance effectiveness
Contributes to researching, designing, and/or acquiring learning resources, technologies, materials, and/or processes to support learning
Provides support for faculty development and engagement programs and activities
Assists with the design and development of engaging, effective learning experiences which may be face-to-face, blended, and/or online
Maintains, calibrates, and sets up skills lab and simulation equipment according to established policies and procedures
Assists with providing basic training and technical support to learners in settings such as classrooms, labs, clinics, and distance learning mediums

Compensation:
The minimum starting salary for this position is $50,000. Actual salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in a healthcare environment (e.g., professional work experience as a CNA, EMT, Paramedic, RN, LPN, Medical Assistant, or similar)
Experience organizing supplies, managing inventory, or supporting daily operations in a clinical, laboratory, or technical environment
Experience with and ability to learn new computer technology
Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 5 feet or at least eye-level
Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching, as well as repetitive motions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting or working with audiovisual and/or simulation technology
Education:
