Prepare and cook bulk Indian vegetarian meals for 300-400 people daily while managing kitchen inventory and supplies. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards to maintain quality and presentation.
Candidates should have experience in Hindi/Gujarati cuisine and the ability to operate roti/chapati machines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working autonomously in a small, family-run non-profit environment.

Universal Metro Aging Services is a Not-For-Profit organization that aims to serve immigrant populations of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe. UMAS is a small, family run organization. The perceptive employee would need to have experience with that or have experience wearing multiple hats. In addition, perceptive employee should be able to work autonomously, be a self-starter, and have initiative and lots of follow through.

Universal Metro Asian Services was incorporated as a Not-For-Profit organization on December 7th, 2000. Its aim to serve immigrant populations of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Middle East, Mexico and Europe. The organization received its first contract with Illinois Department on Aging(IDOA) to administer homecare services to ethnic seniors in 1993 via Universal Industries. Our Community Care program is unique. For the past three decades we have been at the forefront of meeting the requirements of the South Asian immigrant community and have since evolved to serve all communities. We are dedicated and determined to provide services to the elderly in their home rather than institutionalized in a nursing homes. We consider our participant's cultural and social preferences very carefully before assigning a Caregiver in order to best match their needs.
