The Engineering Technician will design expansions and improvements for the electric distribution system to ensure safe and reliable service for customers. Responsibilities include field staking, obtaining permits, troubleshooting service issues, and assisting with service restoration during outages.
An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree is preferred, with two years of experience in a related role. Candidates must have knowledge of electric distribution standards, safety codes, and the ability to manage projects independently.

This Technician position will assist in the provision of engineering and project management focused on extending and preserving ED’s distribution system capability to serve both new and existing customers in a reliable, safe, timely, and economic manner. Resolve complex service problems.
