The Charge Nurse will oversee the 5th Floor Med Surg unit, delivering high-quality patient care according to established standards and hospital policies. They will collaborate with clinical teams to support patient needs, including telemetry and surgical recovery, while maintaining a culture of teamwork.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with at least an Associate's degree and a current Ohio RN license. At least one year of nursing experience and BCLS certification are required prior to patient contact.
UC Health is hiring a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the 5th Floor Med Surg unit at West Chester Hospital.
The Med Surg Charge Nurse will support West Chester Hospital’s Surgical Med Surg unit at our Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. This unit is a total of 36 beds with ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse. Our nurses help with a variety of patient needs with med surg and telemetry.
