Provide maintenance support and perform routine preventative and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment. Focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring team member safety through proactive upkeep and problem solving.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of documented mechanic experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying temperature environments from -25 to 100 degrees.

Hours for this position: 3rd shift 10:30 to 7:30 rotating schedule 3 day weekend every 5 weeks. You will earn an extra $2.75 per hour for working the specified schedule.
As a Maintenance Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our facility and influence company performance by maintaining our equipment. Our Maintenance Generalists are vital to maintaining our Team Member’s safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. We have a fast-paced work environment, where every day is different, and we invest in the continued growth and skills of our Maintenance Generalists. Come be part of our Team.
Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be able and willing to furnish your own tools.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
Frequent overhead work.
Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
Read and understand blueprints, manuals and work orders.
