Requires an AA, BA, or higher degree (preferably in Special Education or Psychology) and hands-on experience with students with special needs. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle, pass a background check, and commit to a full school year.

About the RoleAt Tutor Me Education, we connect passionate educators with neurodivergent students for high-impact, 1:1 in-home tutoring. As an In-Home Special Education Tutor, you'll deliver personalized academic instruction, socio-emotional support, and patient behavioral guidance aligned to each student's learning style and IEP goals — right in their home.
This is a flexible, part-time W-2 employee role. Start with one student (~2–10 hrs/week) and take on additional students whenever you'd like to grow your hours and income.
What You'll Do$25–$35+ per hour, based on your credentials, specialization, and the needs of the student you're matched with. Most roles fall in the $25–$35+ range; higher rates apply for credentialed or specialized tutors, higher-need cases, and bilingual (Spanish/English) matches.
