You navigate complex project dynamics with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, maintaining clear communication between the site and studio to uphold project integrity and exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the project team during the contract administration phase, providing direction and guidance to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.
  • Oversee the contract administration phase, ensuring meticulous oversight of submittal reviews, RFI (Request for Information) and change management, payment certification, project closeout, and active participation in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings and site visits.
  • Conduct site visits to perform limited general reviews, mock-up reviews, deficiency walkthroughs, and occupancy reviews.
  • Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and other site meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination. Lead discussions to resolve issues efficiently and in accordance with contract documents.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during the contract administration phase for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish a comprehensive work plan, monitor, and manage project financials during the construction phase.
  • Create a supportive and engaging environment offering guidance and constructive feedback to your team. Ensure they are well-equipped with the resources and direction needed to successfully meet project deliverables.

What You Will Bring:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 8 years of Architectural experience including Contract Administration.
  • Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid G Driver’s License and have a personal vehicle available for daily business use within Ontario and occasionally outside the province based on project needs.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 3 days in the Studio.

What We Will Provide

The expected gross annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Professional Association Dues Paid.
  • Hybrid Work.
  • State-Of-The-Art Studio Gym.
